Rob Wainwright is an experiential trainer with a background as a qualified lawyer and professionally trained actor.
Rob was born in Brisbane and is a dual citizen of the UK and Australia. He studied Law at the University of Queensland and qualified as a solicitor at Carter Capner Lawyers in Australia, where he practised in litigation.
He then trained as an actor at The Academy Drama School in London, receiving a Postgraduate Diploma in Acting. As a professional actor, Rob has worked in feature film, television and theatre throughout the UK, with credits in the West End as well as on the BBC and History Channel. He also regularly works as a presenter and voice-over artist for a variety of clients.
In addition to his legal and acting experience, Rob worked for ten years at London-based Chambers and Partners, one of the world’s leading legal publishing companies. He was a researcher, writer and interviewer before becoming deputy editor of the Chambers UK Guide. Rob also became a key facilitator for the Chambers roleplay training team, which involved helping to train new researchers in various interview techniques.
In his capacity as a PCA Law trainer, Rob has helped to conduct numerous experiential training sessions for the General Pharmaceutical Council, while other notable clients include Osborne Clarke and DMH Stallard. He also assists PCA with various research, writing and editing projects.
