Penny Lee is a communications consultant and a professionally trained actor, with a legal background working as a Senior Associate in a city law firm in Sydney. She has been living in Singapore since 2011 which is where she is currently based.
After graduating from the University of Sydney with a combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degree Penny started her legal career at Abbott Tout Solicitors advising her insurance company clients on all aspects of insurance litigation, mediation and settlement, as well as dealing with medical professionals and negotiating with injured parties. After a couple of years Penny was headhunted by a boutique city law firm called Harmers Workplace Lawyers. There she worked in employment law, industrial relations, work health and safety, human rights and equal opportunity law, change management and legal risk management, becoming a Senior Associate.
Penny played a significant role in starting up the training service the firm provided for its corporate clients, in terms of preparing content for the training programs as well as delivering the training to senior management teams and staff at all levels.
After working in the law, Penny trained as an actor at The University of Western Sydney (Nepean Theatre) receiving a Bachelor Degree in Performance (Acting), and currently works as a professional actor. On stage, her credits include lead roles in productions at Sydney’s Seymour Centre, the Depot Theatre, in the Sydney Shakespeare Festival and The Adelaide Fringe Festival. Her television credits include Underbelly for Screentime, Spirited for Southern Star Productions and Deadly Women for Discovery Channel.
Training with PCA as an experiential learning practitioner has enabled Penny to combine her unique skills and experience with her natural inclination for training. She delivers communications training that always has the outcome in mind including maintaining healthy relationships between the people involved.
