Michael R Weaver, a communication training specialist with PCA law based in New York City, has a background in law, Wall Street institutional equity trading/research and private banking business development.
A member of the New York Bar, Michael is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law and Yale College. He had a 35 year plus career on Wall Street, as a lawyer and as an investment professional. While a senior associate at Cadwalader Wickersham and Taft, a client recruited him to become an institutional equity salesman at First Boston (now Credit Suisse). Thereafter he served as a senior private banking business development officer at Bessemer Trust and at Deutsche Bank, where he was a Managing Director.
Several years ago, Michael began pursuing a lifelong interest in acting. A member of SAG-AFTRA, he has had principal roles in numerous indie films, network series and student films, as well as appearing in several Off-Off-Broadway productions.
Michael continues to keep his hand in at Wall Street by serving frequently as a FINRA arbitrator, has served twelve terms (and counting) as a member of his cooperative apartment board and recently taught business and art history as a volunteer in a Tanzanian orphanage.
