With a background in legal practice and professional acting, Michael has delivered communication skills training to leading international law firms and in sectors as diverse as accountancy, finance, insurance, retail, energy, pharmaceuticals and government.
Michael qualified as a solicitor at Weightmans and has years of experience as a litigation partner at Farnfields. He also received a Postgraduate Diploma in Acting from the Central School of Speech and Drama.
As a former litigation partner, Michael has a wealth of knowledge of the legal profession and understands the vital importance of personal communication skills. He has worked across all levels – from trainee inductions to partner master classes – communicating the skills of relationship building, client management, leadership, impact and influencing, value and negotiation, selling and differentiation, performance management and handling difficult conversations (including peer-to-peer at partner level).
Michael’s many law firm clients include Allen & Overy, Baker & McKenzie, Dentons, Freshfields, Linklaters, Shearman & Sterling, Stephenson Harwood and Withers.
