Kate Copeland has worked as a corporate roleplayer, facilitator and trainer since 2001. She also has experience as a legal assistant for various law firms and chambers, as well as experience in professional acting.
Kate studied Classics at Newcastle University and followed that with a 3-year BA Hons in Acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Her credits include theatre, feature films and television ranging from the BBC to the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Kate is an NLP Practitioner and also works as a 1:1 Coach in the areas of Personal Impact, Voice and Presentation Skills. She has provided training to numerous law firms, including Allen & Overy, Mayer Brown, Stephenson Harwood and Clifford Chance, and she was part of the original team used to assess and recruit staff at The Legal Ombudsman. She has also delivered training to many household name clients across a range of sectors, including BNP Paribas, British Airways, Legal and General, Shell, Unilever, Virgin and Waitrose.
Kate works with energy and enthusiasm to enable legal practitioners to develop their personal communication skills, providing support and challenge where required. She also works with The Law Society on Situational Leadership to enable their people to influence others as effectively as possible.
