Daniel Kershen is a Lead Trainer and in house team member at PCA Law, combining a background in the legal sector, dispute resolution and learning and development.
Daniel trained in Psychosocial Sciences at the University of East Anglia and following this, Daniel started working in Conflict Resolution, setting up a mediation service in Brent, his local borough, to support local community members in addressing, defusing and finding solutions to the challenging situations they faced. His work involved delivering effective training to a range of stakeholders, upskilling them and giving them the tools to deal with any conflict that arose.
Following this, Daniel completed his Master’s degree in International and Commercial Dispute Resolution at the University of Westminster and went to work for the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution, working with individuals and organisations to improve their skills in management and communication. This included having high stakes conversations in a corporate environment. Daniel also ran their charitable projects arm, managing a raft of development projects to completion.
Daniel joined Clyde & Co in 2012, working in the learning and development team, delivering first in class learning and development courses to partners, associates, trainees and apprentices. In his time there he designed and delivered inductions, away-days, business development academies, communication skills courses, negotiation programmes and professional development skills sessions. Daniel has also worked on digital marketing and business development projects, supporting the development of Clyde & Co’s website.
Daniel is trained in Neuro-linguistic programming, training delivery and design, as well as Train the Trainer modules.
